Supporting program highlights 2017

From September 26 to 28 IFAT India 2017 will once again bring together local and international representatives from associations and government, industry leaders and leading companies to highlight and discuss challenges and solutions in the water, sewage, refuse and recycling sector. Together with its strong partners the IFAT India team is preparing the following highlights for the 2017 supporting program:

  • Business to Government Session with several Indian states, who will present their activities, plans and new tenders in the relevant sectors.
  • Presentation of innovative products and solutions for the Indian water, waste and biogas sector in our unique Active Learning Center.
  • For the first time! Implementation of a Workshop on Air Quality Management in India.
  • Implementation of a comprehensive session on Qualification in the Indian Water Sector, including a Water Skills Competition and the Indian University Challenge.
  • Presentation of the first results of a new study on disclosing potentials of Biogas in India, showcasing best practices especially in terms of profitability
  • Hosting the first General Assembly of the Indian Biogas Association including the implementation of a workshop on biogen waste and biogas.
  • Presentation of the first results of a new European-Indian project on resource efficiency.
  • Hosting the second Sino-Indian dialogue on environmental technologies of the Chinese foreign economic cooperation office, Ministry of Environmental Protection, China
  • Hosting the International Solid Waste Associations young professionals and careers in waste management event and implementation of a comprehensive session on the ISWA Closing Dumpsite Campaign.
